The Role

As Restricted Contract Risk Manager (maternity cover), you will be part of a team that provides contract management oversight and assurance on OGBs high risk restricted contracts where we are Partner Affiliate (PA). You will work with staff at country, regional, and global level with responsibilities for specific contract delivery.

This will include direct accompaniment and support to, and working with others on, donor compliance, donor contract management systems, donor reporting, risk management, key contract performance indicator monitoring, convening of stakeholders and collaborative issue resolution.

This can include short deployments to country teams.

  • This is a fixed-term maternity cover up until March 2023 with the possibility of 3month extension
  • Salary will be in local currency, within country pay grade if successful applicant is based outside of UK

What we are looking for

We’re looking for a candidate who cares about Oxfam’s mission to end poverty and is personally aligned to the values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion in all you do and also our feminist principles. An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

  • Proven track record in award and contract management for a large international organisation or donor agency
  • Demonstrable experience of preparing complex and large project budgets, business analysis, and donor reports (including financial and narrative information)
  • Demonstrable project management experience and/or a project management qualification
  • Ability to influence outcomes, facilitate processes, and work with others without direct line management authority
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Prior experience in building staff capacity and supporting adults to learn new skills
  • Arabic and / or French is desirable
