At the Financial Ombudsman Service, we make decisions on a range of complex and difficult issues. Every year we resolve hundreds of thousands of disputes between consumers or small businesses and their financial service providers – and if we believe a customer hasn’t been treated fairly, we can step in to put things right.
Our Resourcing team plays a key role in making sure we have the right number of people with the right skills and behaviours to meet their objectives, and that we continue to meet our commitments as an organisation. We’ve got a lot to achieve this year, which is looking to be another very busy year in resourcing.
As one of our Resourcing partners, you’ll provide strategic partnerships with your stakeholders, ensuring they are kept abreast of all recruitment developments and to understand their recruitment needs – and forecasting where possible.

You will be naturally resilient and a solutions provider, pro-actively sourcing candidates to minimise agency usage by filling roles through direct sourcing methods.
Working proactively with your customers, you’ll be bringing new ideas to the table around attraction and assessing quality candidates, alongside forward planning and thinking about the commercial impact. To do this effectively, you’ll collaborate with Resourcing colleagues, HR & organisational development partners (HR&OD partners) and our People Hub team.
