Under supervision of the Resource Development (RD) Director and working closely with Asia-Pacific (AP) team members, the Resource Development Manager supports the National Organizations (NO’s) to build their RD pipelines by researching and analyzing donor priorities and plans, supporting country/program teams on profiling and positioning, bringing in knowledge on donor requirements, identifying funding opportunities and working with country/program teams on conceptualizing (new) programs and projects in a co-creation process with donors and partners.

This position is based in Manila, Philippines, however Habitat may entertain alternate locations where Habitat has operating presence.

The work arrangement for this position is hybrid, and flex-time schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

– Research donor priorities, plans and country strategies mapping to Habitat’s programming priorities and country strategies and identify potential areas for funding.
– Analyze donor regulations and procurement process to identify direct funding opportunities and specific proposal requirements, including partnerships, co-financing (match funding).
– Work with National Directors, RD staff and program managers to support profiling and engagement with donors and partners, to pitch new programs and partnerships.
– Work closely with NO’s and program development teams on conceptualizing (new) projects and coordinate the co-creation process (planning, design) with donors and partners.
– Coordinate proposal development process from start to finish, facilitating the interaction between the different teams (global, AP, NO’s), and with donor(s)/partner(s)
– Work with RD team and Global Foundations, Organizations and Institutions (GFOI) to identify potential opportunities for match funding and to leverage funding from corporations for projects with FOI donors.
– Ensure effective data management through the Customer Relations Management (CRM).

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science (BA/BS) required, post graduate preferred
Years of Related Experience: 5+ years of experience in fundraising and program development

Qualifications:
– Direct experience of working in a non-profit organization and ideally, 2-3 years of experience working in a developing country
– Demonstrated track record in fundraising and program development working with corporate and/or institutional donors
– Demonstrated planning, project management and facilitation skills

Preferred:
– Innovative, creative and analytical thinker
– Client oriented; excellent customer service mindset
– Research and analysis, presentation and negotiation skills
– Strong technology skills (internet, social media etc.)
– Outstanding oral and written communication skills
– Working knowledge of customer relations management (CRM)
– An individual whose professional and personal conduct reflects HFH’s Christian principles and values
