Amey is mobilising 2 Regional Accommodation Maintenance Service (RAMS) contracts as part of the MOD’s Future Defence Infrastructure Services (FDIS). The RAMS contracts are across Central and Northern England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The contracts include responsive and planned preventative maintenance as well as improvement and refurbishment projects to approximately 25,000 homes.

What will this role involve?
As Resource Coordinator you will assist with the management of complex repair tasks ensuring that supply chains and Amey operational staff are aware of the need to sequence work to reduce the disruption to families. Supporting the National Service Centre by providing data to enable them to book planned maintenance tasks. The key to this post is negotiate with and influence families understanding the challenges of Service Life and ensure families feel valued and supported.
Daily tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Liaise with Supply Chain engineers to confirm availability of appointments when booking follow on work with occupants.
- Where works are not completed at the first visit ensure the task is passed to the ring fenced urgent and emergency team to complete within 24hrs
- Monitor the completion of move in preparation works and highlight any concerns with completion to the Customer and Community Engagement Officer.
- Ensure that any tasks that fall outside the remit of the contract are captured as Billable Works.
What are we looking for?
General office work experience and passionate about collaboration and Customer Service Excellence.
- Experienced in data processing, planning, scheduling and general administrative duties in a fast-paced environment
- Educated to NVQ Level 2 standard or equivalent experiential experience.
- Experience in customer service.
