Role: Residential Care Worker, Monday – Sunday rolling rota (4 days a week shifts)
Location: St Albans / Radlett, Hertfordshire
Start date: September 2022
Protocol Education are working with a special school that educate students in KS1 – KS4 with ASD and challenging behaviours. We are looking for resilient and proactive Residential Care Workers to come and join their Lodge team in September. In this role you will be supporting them throughout their personl support, getting them ready for school, activities, homework and lunches. We are looking for SEN professionals who have been around children and young people. Someone who has experience with Autism, whether that be within their own friends and family.
This role would also be great for someone who wants to move from the care industry with adults to working with sen students in a residential care home/lodge. We are happy to speak to anyone who feels confident working with young students with ASD, candidates who have worked in mainstream schools, youth clubs, or just finished college / uni and ready to start a new full time role that is rewarding where all training is provided on the job. You will attend the first day induction and if successful, continue on a long-term basis for the next academic year.
To Be Considered

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
