Role Purpose:

To support and assist the research lead on the delivery of Socio-cultural and behavioural Barriers limiting the access and Utilization of the mother-child Health care services in Humanitarian Context study that will be conducted in Bari region. The post holder will also support the REALM team in hiring and supervising enumerators for the SBC study. The intern will be responsible for data quality checks, the post holder will manage and follow up enumerator payments and will also manage taps/smart phone for data collection.

Contract Duration: 3 Months

Location: Garowe

Qualifications & Experience

  • A graduate that can understand all basic health related issues.
  • Have at least BSc in any field but can understand complex Socio-cultural and health related terminologies: Having MSc will be an added value.
  • Knowledge on statistical methodology and research overview.
  • Computer literacy, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of other data analysis software such STATA, SPSS, etc, will be an added value
  • Willingness to improve planning, coordination, and reporting skills
