Contract timeline: 2 Jan 2024 – 30 Apr 2024
Objective: Sesame Workshop seeks a consultant with expertise in disability inclusion to review and create a brief that considers the relevance of an existing disability and inclusion guidance note for use in humanitarian settings. This brief will serve as a valuable resource for practitioners in early childhood development and emergency settings (ECDiE), providing them with best practices and simple how-to recommendations as it relates to using the disability and inclusion guidance note for ECDiE programming. Additionally, the consultant will review and enhance the current Watch, Play, Learn education resources to optimize their inclusivity for people with disabilities in settings affected by crisis.
Anticipated deliverables:
1. Project onboarding
2. Disability and Inclusion Brief Outline (1 round of review)
3. Disability and Inclusion Brief (2 rounds of review)
4. Review of Watch, Play, Learn education resources (Summary Report with Recommendations for Inclusion)
5. Revision and Approval of WPL Education Resources (2 rounds of review)
Anticipated timeline: refer to attached TOR for more details
Anticipated engagement: Estimated 15-20 days engagement over 4- month period. The anticipated budget range is USD $8000-12,000.
Payment schedule to be agreed upon during contracting process.
