Promo / Video of Mobilization and Advocacy Activity

1. Background:

Mari Research and Development (MRD) is an organization committed to addressing critical humanitarian and human rights issues, particularly those related to missing persons and transitional justice. Our project, “We Need to Know,” operates in the northeastern region of Syria, within a distinct human rights framework. This project aims to document missing persons, ensure the rights of affected families, and provide support for the processes of transitional justice in the context of post-conflict Syria.

2. Purpose of the RFP:

MRD is seeking the services of a qualified provider to create two promotional videos that capture the mobilization and advocacy activities of our project, “We Need to Know.” These videos will serve to raise awareness about our initiatives, engage stakeholders, and garner support for our cause.

3. Scope of Work:

The selected provider will be responsible for the following:

  1. Creating two promotional videos (duration: 3-5 minutes each) that highlight the mobilization and advocacy activities of the “We Need to Know” project.
  2. Capturing compelling visuals and narratives that effectively convey the impact and importance of our work in addressing missing persons and transitional justice in Syria.
  3. Ensuring that the videos adhere to ethical and legal standards, with particular attention to human rights principles and sensitivity to the context of post-conflict Syria.
  4. Collaborating closely with MRD’s Communications Team to integrate key messages and branding elements into the videos.
  5. Providing draft versions of the videos for review and incorporating feedback as necessary.
  6. Producing final high-quality videos in formats suitable for online dissemination and screening at events.

4. Proposal Submission:

Interested service providers are invited to submit their proposals in accordance with the following guidelines:

  1. A detailed proposal outlining your approach to creating the promotional videos, including your understanding of the project’s objectives and target audience.
  2. Examples of previous work demonstrating your experience in producing promotional videos or similar multimedia content, particularly in the humanitarian or human rights sector.
  3. A proposed timeline for the completion of the project, including key milestones.
  4. A proposed budget, including fees for video production, editing, and any additional expenses.
  5. At least two professional references.

7. Evaluation Criteria:

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  4. References and reputation in producing multimedia content, particularly in the humanitarian or human rights sector.

8. Terms and Conditions:

  1. MRD reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal.
  2. MRD may request additional information or clarification from the applicants.
  3. The selected provider will be required to adhere to MRD’s code of ethics and confidentiality requirements.
  4. Payment terms will be negotiated upon selection of the provider.
