Request for Proposals: NORCAP Tender – Development of Business Models Framework.

In early 2022, NORCAP launched a new three-year strategy, and finalised an internal study of the governance and business models that had evolved across various programmes. This included mapping of the strengths, weaknesses, commonalities, and differences in how we operate, and raised several questions about how we should best bring our ways of working under a consolidated framework of business models.

We now seek external support to work with us on developing this framework for business models, with the objective of structuring how NORCAP creates, delivers, and captures value. The consultant/s will also be required to guide institutionalisation of the framework and provide guidance on its appropriate communication externally and use in advocacy.

Expected Outcomes:

• Analysis of how the organisation creates, delivers, and captures value in pursuit of our strategy, including how we facilitate progress for and with our partners on key shared strategic priorities.
• Development of an agreed set of business models which will inform how we operationalise and achieve our strategic objectives.
• Specific exploration and consultation around NORCAP’s newer programme areas targeting localisation, and their appropriate inclusion in the business model framework.
• Institutionalisation of business models in organisational processes and strategies, including how to develop and adapt these over time.
• Communication and advocacy guidance for external sharing of the framework
