Background
ITPC is a worldwide network of community activists united by our vision of a longer, healthier, more productive life for people living with HIV and/or AIDS (PLWHA). ITPC’s mission is to enable communities in need to access HIV treatment.
ITPC wishes to engage a consultant to develop, set up and administer a technology platform to support ITPC operations and processes including approvals, budget tracking, reporting and activity monitoring.
Scope of Work
We are looking for a talented Salesforce developer to design world-class Salesforce applications for our evolving CRM requirements. As a Salesforce developer, you will be responsible for developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. You will also analyze project objectives, create customer workflows, and troubleshoot errors.
To ensure success as a Salesforce developer, you should have extensive experience working with Salesforce CRM platforms, application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems. Ultimately, a top-class Salesforce developer can create dynamic and scalable Salesforce applications that meet the changing needs of the company.
Salesforce Developer Responsibilities:
- Meeting with project managers to determine CRM needs.
- Developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform.
- Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications.
- Creating timelines and development goals.
- Testing the stability and functionality of the application.
- Troubleshooting and fixing bugs.
- Writing documents and providing technical training for Salesforce staff.
- Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software.
- Automate processes using Salesforce tools such as process builder, flow automation, validation rules.
- Identify, install and maintain appropriate apps from the AppExchange for event management, mass email, document merge, and more.
- Train new users and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization.
- Document customizations made in Salesforce.
- Plan ahead for upgrades, seasonal releases and long-term projects.
- Handle all basic administrative functions including user maintenance, modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields and other routine tasks.
- Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment with 20+ users.
Evaluation Criteria
The following assessment criteria will be used to evaluate proposals:
- Credentials of Management Team;
- Track record & experience ;
- Previous experience in NPO sector (with grant funding) of the team;
- Previous experience in clients similar to ITPC;
- Ability to meet the company requirements;
- Price
ITPC reserves the right not to accept any proposal and/or proposal with the lowest price.
