PURPOSE OF THIS RFP
The agriculture sector in Gaza faces many constraints that prevent it from reaching its capacity as one of the main sectors contributing to the Palestinian economy. It is vital to understand how multilayered factors, including climate change, affect the agricultural sector in addition to innovative approaches that may be adopted to tackle those challenges, at the implementation and policy levels, to promote and adopt those approaches. To achieve this, a policy brief on the use of innovative approaches to sustainable access to irrigation water integrated with climate-smart agriculture practices will be developed to demonstrate the impact of innovative approaches and provide policy-level recommendations. Two case studies will be developed to showcase the impact of adopted interventions on targeted farmers. Online and offline influencing actions targeting national and international actors will be carried out by Oxfam.
Oxfam is seeking to commission a multi-disciplinary team of consultants to produce a policy brief including case studies addressing the irrigation and climate change challenges through evidence-based advocacy capturing the innovative approaches to sustainable and safe access to irrigation integrated with climate-smart agriculture as per the conditions and requirements detailed in the Request For Proposal (RFP) dossier.

The deadline for submission of bids is 17th August 2022 at 1 pm upon conditions in the RFP dossier.
