The services included in this project are:

  2. Develop an innovative platform that dispenses advisory services addressing capacity constraints, skills enhancement, and digital presence for WSMEs,

The project specifically seeks to unlock the entrepreneurial capacity of 400 WSMEs and improve AECF’s ecosystem for supporting women entrepreneurs in 9 countries (Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe)

This project is implemented by AECF between April 2022 and December 2023

AECF is seeking to recruit dynamic, proactive, and passionate business coaches and mentors to work with the women business leaders on the Nkwanzi platform to scale their business operations and to access capital. The business mentors will leverage their knowledge and experience by providing advice, counsel, networks and political and cultural know-how, together with ongoing personal support and encouragement. The coaches and mentors will provide the women business leaders with the tools, guidance, support, and feedback they need to thrive in their business. Being knowledge and opportunity centres, they will provide insights, context and experiences to unstuck the businesses.

Each coach/mentor will support at least 20 WSMEs remotely over a period of 12 months. You will be part of a small and highly motivated team supporting over 400 WSMEs across Africa with business advisory and investment raising support.

The AECF, LLC now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Eligibility criteria, the establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants”, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
