In partnership with Muslim Hands International, a group with 27 members around the globe and the experience of more than 29 years, Müslüman Eller Derneği strives to work for the betterment of humanity regardless of race, ethnicity, or gender. Müslüman Eller Derneği aims to mobilize resources and provide a platform to International NGOs and donors, by engaging trustworthy Turkish organizations at both local and governmental level, focusing on the intervention areas of Education, WASH, Health, Emergency, Food Security and Livelihood. Our objective is an impartial, efficient, and wholly transparent process that ensures that donations and aid reach the marginalized groups and people that really need them.

Job Title: Reporting Officer

Job Description:

Muslim Hands Turkey office is seeking a Reporting Officer to support the organization’s reporting and monitoring activities in Turkey. The Reporting Officer will report to the Program Coordinator and will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of program results and impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a reporting and monitoring plan for the organization’s programs in Turkey, ensuring alignment with program objectives and donor requirements.
  • Collect and analyse program data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare program reports and other communications materials, ensuring accuracy and clarity of information.
  • Ensure compliance with donor reporting requirements, including the timely submission of reports and other documentation.
  • Manage the organization’s database and information management systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Conduct field visits and assessments to monitor program activities and impact, ensuring compliance with program objectives and standards.
  • Provide technical assistance and capacity building support to program staff and partners, ensuring effective reporting and monitoring of program activities.
  • Responsible for closing projects (reports, invoices, distribution lists) in line with the requirements of local bodies.
  • Provide project media for every project to internal media department for advertising.
  • Translation of documents from English to Turkish (and vice versa) and interpretation of verbal communication from English to Turkish (and vice versa) when required.
  • Support with the collection of data and information for proposals for new potential projects.
  • Collaborate with the Program Coordinator and other department heads to ensure alignment and coordination of reporting and monitoring activities.
  • Ensure effective use and management of IT and other organizational resources.

Qualifications:

  • Turkish National
  • Bachelor’s degree in international development, social sciences, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in reporting and monitoring, preferably in an NGO or international development context.
  • Strong knowledge of reporting and monitoring principles and practices, including donor reporting requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyse complex data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Turkish, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to travel within Turkey as needed.
