Position Overview

• NET Developers build and create functionality in our primary application which is focused on vendor, product, and inventory maintenance; demand forecast and purchasing. As an intern, this developer will be working with a senior developer to enhance and maintain our software solutions. The environment is C#, T-SQL and ASP.NET.

Key Factors For Success

• Enhance and maintain our supply chain application which is used by over 3000 employees at 500+ locations.
• Triage open tickets to appropriately assign to developers
• Gather enhancement requirements and feedback from subject matter experts.
• Support business units and implement enhancements.
• Engage in expanded contact with varied and multiple departments and functional operations: actively participating in discussion around strategic business opportunities and/or issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues

Skills And Knowledge

Skills We Are Seeking

• Degree focused on an IT discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Some applications development experience in the Microsoft environment including design, coding, testing, and implementation.
• Some experience with C#/.NET, SSIS, T-SQL, SQL Server (2008/2012/2014)
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation
• Exposure to RESTful API’s using C#.NET, Core API and SQL.
• SQL Query skills, Able to Write Performance Queries
• Invoking Third party Webservices, submitting request and processing responses.
• Some knowledge of Architecture, Infrastructure and Performance Tuning preferred
