The German Red Cross (GRC) is part of a worldwide community assisting victims of conflicts and disasters and people affected by social or health related crises. The Red Cross Red Crescent (RCRC) Movement provides vulnerable people with assistance without discrimination as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class or political opinions and adheres to the seven Fundamental Principles of the Movement: Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity and Universality. Background

GRC is expanding its global surge capacity and invites qualified humanitarian professionals to join GRC’s Surge Roster for Relief Delegates. Successful applicants will be part of the GRC Relief Pool with an individual Learning Pathway, access to on-site and online trainings, a dedicated technical focal-point and like-minded peers for regular technical exchange. GRC Surge Roster Members will be contacted regularly for deployment opportunities and in the case of a deployment, will receive a GRC delegate contract for the deployment period.
