  Main Purpose
Ensure registration and admission of patients visiting MSF health facilities and prepare the patient for her consultation and admission according to MSF protocols.
Accountabilities

Welcome patients, inform them about how the facility functions, and ensure the availability of a comfortable waiting area for them and their relatives.
Ensure good flow of patients avoiding overcrowded rooms.
Bring any patient with an obviously serious medical problem to the attention of the midwife supervisors and midwife activity manager
Identify patients and register their administrative details.
Create and update files for patients according to protocols, and ensure good maintaining and filing system.
Organizing and contacting patients for appointments of medical services.
Ensure, maintain and promote confidentiality regarding all information registered.
Keep record of daily attendance, exits (cured, defaulter, death or transfer)
Collaborating with Midwife Activity Manager /Data Processing Officer in collecting and encoding data of different medical departments.
Organizing archives in collaboration with supervisor.

MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities

Respect and apply the MSF values and principles.
Disclose the admission criteria of the BeMONC (Al Amal Centre) to the patients and the public in general
Guide the patient in the location of different services in the BeMONC (Al Alamal Centre)
Participate assist to trainings and meetings that are related to the field of work.
Know and respect the standard precaution measures
Because of the nature of the work in MSF contexts, big flexibility is required, and any other dutiestasks asked by the supervisor(s) should be performed in and out of the current workplace.
Responsible for proper organising and archiving patient files.
In collaboration with Midwife Activity Manager, she is responsible for filling birth announcement for patients not being able to provide all required paper directly after delivery.
In collaboration with Midwife Activity Manager , encoding SRH data in excel sheet / DHIS2 system Education:
Experience:
1 year in similar or relevant positions.
Desirable: MSF or other NGOs.
Because of the nature of the work in MSF contexts, big flexibility is required and any other duties/tasks asked by your supervisor(s) should be performed in and out of the current work place.
Languages:

Desirable competency in English, and fluency in Arabic is essential. Deadline for receiving job applications is 31st January 2022
