What is The Deal for you?

  • Flexibility! You can work your full-time hours over 4 days and enjoy a long weekend, or work over 5 days to accommodate your other commitments. You need to be available to work from our office in Glasgow on the rare occasion and there will be travel required to services within the North Scotland region. you will be based in Highland, Moray or surrounding areas but otherwise you can work from home.
  • Competitive Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 dependent upon experience plus mileage

The Role

The Community Integrated Care recruitment team plays an essential role in the sustainability and growth of our charity, securing the best talent, with the right values, which contributes to us being one of the leading and award-winning adult social care charities across the UK. Our aim is to enable the 3500 people we support, and our 5000 colleague to have the ‘Best Lives Possible’.

We are looking for a dynamic, solution focused and fast paced Recruitment Specialist to manage the end-to-end resourcing, from attraction to hire, within our North West region. You will work a hybrid model but be based in and around the North West so can be based in Manchester, Liverpool or surrounding areas.

Our passionate, enthusiastic and flexible Recruitment Specialists provide a comprehensive end to end recruitment service for a variety of roles from Support Workers, Advanced Support workers, Service leaders and operational roles across the region.

This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your recruitment expertise in a rewarding and enriching organisation who have shown commitment to continuously investing in their workforce. It’s a fast-paced environment and you’ll need to be confident with high volume recruitment, using creative sourcing strategies and brilliant relationship building techniques to find the best candidates, from all backgrounds, that display the right values to work in social care.

Reporting to the Regional Senior People Business Partner and supporting the Head of resourcing, you will be seen as a subject matter expert, providing sound advice, guidance and support to hiring managers from attraction, screening, interviewing all the way through to on-boarding.

Working closely with the regional hiring managers you will determine future recruitment requirements and provide regular updates on progress, producing management information (MI) when required. You will also use your local knowledge to identify and develop a variety of attraction sources in addition to standard methods used across the business, organise and plan regular recruitment events across your region and ensure robust, fair and consistent selection, preparing materials when required. At all times you will ensure candidates receive a great experience and promote the business as in a positive manner.

Through our ATS and creative sourcing strategies we operate a direct sourcing model. Through the delivery of exceptional candidate care and ensuring that candidates are effectively pre-screened before inclusion into the recruitment process, we create an efficient and effective process concentrating on an outstanding candidate experience.

You’ll also be working with key stakeholders within operational teams to develop initiatives such as assessment centres, marketing campaigns, workforce plans and sourcing strategies.

  • You’ll have a proactive approach to continuous improvement
  • You’ll have proven high volume recruitment experience, preferably in social care
  • You’ll have the ability to efficiently manage and prioritise your workload, be highly self-motivated, and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You’ll have strong communication skills and the ability to build positive and productive professional relationships quickly and consultatively with internal and external stakeholders
  • You’ll have the drive, commitment, and ambition to recruit the best talent that will go on to make a remarkable difference to the people we support
  • You’ll be proficient with dealing with resourcing metrics and data, and have experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • You’ll be happy to work flexibly to interview and pre-screen candidate, working some evenings and weekends (with time off in lieu)
  • It is also important that you share our charity’s values, which are at the heart of everything we do.
