The Role

Oxfam International in Asia is looking for a Regional Project Manager-Influencing Just Energy Transition in Asia (IJETA) who will be responsible fordeveloping, managing and leading the influencing, advocacy, campaigning, policy work of Oxfam in Asia to ensure the achievement of organizational goals related to Just Energy Transition.

The Regional Project Manager is responsible for building powerful movements, voices and multi-stakeholder partnerships with community-based movements, relevant government bodies, international institutions, private sector, academic and technical allies, partners and networks to achieve emission reduction and renewable energy targets for 2030.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a Regional Project Manager- IJETA with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and/or 10 years of experience on Climate related issues with advanced project management experience in the international development sector. S/he should have strong knowledge of the Asia context with emphasis on Southeast Asia and ASEAN processes in terms of social and political dynamics related to climate change.

S/he should have extensive experience in advocacy in regional and international policy spaces relevant to Climate Justice and in policy analysis.

Regional Project Manager – IJETA, will have strong networking, representational, coordination of multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams, and high level negotiation skills, along with excellent strategic thinking, writing and communication skills. We are looking for a Regional Project Manager who is a champion of feminist leadership principles and values including commitment to diversity and inclusion.
