Regional Insights Manager SSA

This role is a new role as part of Marketing and Communications Transformation programme. Role Purpose

This role will provide expert advice to the region and countries on market insight and analytics activities, coordinate across region, and ensure the consistent deployment of market insights and analytics processes, systems, and approaches. The Regional Insights Manager will support the definition and development of key global data collection standards, processes, and templates and manage the tracking and collation of key marketing intelligence data (customer, competitor, and market). The successful candidate will work closely with Insights colleagues across the region and the Performance role(s) in the Regional Marketing Hub.

Role specific knowledge and experience:

The main essential knowledge and experience points that we are looking for you to evidence are:

  • Relevant degree e.g. business studies, marketing, or equivalent level of experience
  • Considerable experience in managing and commissioning market insight and analytics projects and initiatives within a large and complex organisation.
  • Demonstrable experience in coaching managers to use market insights and analytics to improve business performance

Desirable Experience:

  • Proven experience in a global organisation
  • Experience in a relevant sector or industry

  • Uses analytics to explain the success or failure of marketing activities; Evaluates activities and recommends improvements using measurement data and analytics

Pay Band – 6

Remuneration – Naira 9,185,747 per annum (Nigeria) GHS 6,409 per month (Ghana) R 28,555 per month (South Africa)

Contract Type – 12 Month Fixed Term

Location – Nigeria, Ghana or South Africa**

Requirements – All applicants should have a pre-existing legal status to live and work in country of application. The British Council will not facilitate/sponsor visa applications and work permits.
