A day in the life of a Regional Finance Specialist:

In the role of Regional Finance Specialist you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends to assist Regional Finance Officers in performing their responsibilities
  • Advise Regional Finance Officers and Finance leadership on the financial management performance of assigned field offices and on the financial impact of programs, strategies, funding agreements, activities, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in regional team meetings, coordination, and planning
  • Advise Finance Managers on strategies to structure in-country finance teams to ensure key financial objectives are met
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field and two (2) to three (3) years of related Accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Thorough knowledge of Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Ability to lead in-person and remote trainings
  • Ability to calculate, present, and analyze financial information
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire

Job Location: Boone, North Carolina

Type: Full-Time

Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required)

Travel Expectations: 60 days/annually; required travel documents and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries will be necessary
