Regional Finance Coordinator (MENAEE)

National based in Jordan

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Prepare, record, enter all voucher and properly file the voucher.
  • Review all invoices before payment in accordance with SCI procedures and ensure proper supporting documentation before payment.
  • Monitor credit card accounts to make sure they are settled on time.
  • Review Petty cash Advances and prepare entries.
  • Assist in Prepare BVA for MEE RO.
  • Track and Monitor staff advance accounts and make sure they are settled on time and escalate as appropriate
  • Prepare international staff salaries journals and keep monitor Inter-Country account.
  • Assist in Reviewing RO trial balance
  • Prepare CFR for RO.
  • Assist in the external and internal audit
  • Preparing accrual prepayment, prepayment records, fixed assets and depreciation journals
  • Prepare bank reconciliation.
  • Carry out support visits for interim support to COs if needed
  • Prepare National staff salaries using Mena pay system, Income Tax, SS calculations and insure that salary advances settled on time.
  • SS And Tax Focal point.
  • Assist in Salary Allocation Monthly Process.
  • Assist in Master Budget through SOF Loader for Project budget.
  • Support CO’s after Go live with ProSave System.
  • Undertake any other duty as reasonably requested

In order to be successful, you will bring/have:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting
  • Excellent organizational and communicational skills
  • Able to work within a team
  • Excellent in English written and spoken
  • Computer literacy
  • 2 – 4 years’ experience in similar role.
  • Experience in INGOs is a plus
