Job Summary

Responsible for the implementation of national recruitment processes, acquisition for critical roles within the organization. Includes sourcing, screening and facilitating selection of staff, volunteers, and consultants for International Medical Corps’ programs and operations.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • schedule interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough reference check and coordinate background, making job offers contingent upon successful completion.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR staff to negotiate job offers.
  • Design and implement improvements to recruitment policies and processes.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information.

Minimum Requirements

  • Typically, a Bachelor’s degree in a related area. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate
  • Typically, 3+ years of relevant progressive experience in recruitment
  • Deep understanding of recruitment and selection processes
  • Good knowledge of IT platforms
  • Strong technical knowledge of human resources practices
  • Ability to drive for results
  • project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills
  • INGO and field experience
