12 month work placement as part of degree | Central London based (Old Street) | July 2022 start date | £25,000 per annum.

• Through ongoing training and experience you will confidently be able to source and interview candidates. By the end of your placement year you will be responsible for certain roles in Box EMEA.
• Create, lead and assist on initiatives to promote our Box Employment Brand. This will include; owning our video platform Altru in EMEA, updating our careers website and organising workshops and events with UK Universities.
• Being based in a EMEA HQ you get to experience from the inside on how a high growth cloud SaaS technology company works.

What does a Recruitment Generalist actually do?

Recruitment is a central pillar at Box. We partner closely with hiring teams to understand broad business needs, effectively setting clear expectations and developing innovative hiring strategies. As recruitment generalist you be essential to the small, but mighty, EMEA recruitment team.

You will play a key role in making an excellent candidate experience through coordinating interviews and, after training, leading your own. You will also be developing and promoting our Box Employment Brand. Box benefits from a flat and inclusive structure and you will be encouraged to get involved in a variety of projects, with teams in both EMEA and the US, bringing to them an enthusiastic and creative mindset. We strongly encourage our Placement Students to get involved in our Box community and our charitable outreach projects.

What does that mean day to day?

• Coordinating and scheduling interviews for a variety of roles across EMEA.
• Sourcing and interviewing candidates.
• Responsible for organising the New Hires social and delivering the New Hires Recruitment presentation for those in EMEA and Poland.
• Open roles on our job platform greenhouse. This will include writing job descriptions.
• Take ownership over contract generation for roles across EMEA.
• Have a lot of fun in our Employee Led Resource communities and at our range of Box socials!

What is Box looking for ?

Communication – you are known for building strong relationships in and outside of your core studies.

Drive – demonstrates a level of resilience to overcome objections and have a “can do” attitude to delivering personal goals.

Attention to detail Everybody makes mistakes, even the most detail oriented employee. You will be detail oriented by nature, able to fail fast and prioritise effectively ensuring quality on sometimes tight deadlines.

To be eligible you must be an undergraduate student in a placement year course returning to study Autumn 2022, you also will need to have the right to work in UK already in place.

If you are studying something Business, Management and HR related it would be a plus, however from experience you don’t need a specific degree background to be successful as a placement student in box.
