Burges Salmon LLP
About You
We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our Emerging Talent team to work in collaboration with our existing Resourcing Administrator. You will also support our Resourcing Business Partner and Resourcing Specialists who lead on attraction and recruitment of trainee solicitors, our apprentices, client support roles and the management of our successful working with schools programme . Once our trainee solicitors and apprentices join us, we manage all aspects of their programme and provide pastoral support. The work will be fast-paced, varied and will guarantee you excellent opportunities for working with people across all levels.
Emerging talent is different from a regular recruitment role. Most of our processes run over a period of months and involve attraction of talent (think careers fairs, schools visits, social media and in-house events), recruitment (application review, assessment centres, work experience, interviews) and everything in between. We are looking for someone with fantastic communication and organisation skills to support all aspects of our recruitment campaigns and processes. Law firm experience is not essential either.
Our working with schools programme is an important aspect of Burges Salmon’s commitment to PRIME, ensuring fair access to the legal profession. This role will involve engaging with local schools and colleges, and running events and work experience programmes for school aged students aimed to show them what working in a law firm has to offer!
You can find a full list of tasks in the attached job description.
