Recruiting Specialist

Job Description $21 hourly

  • Research potential new Community Based Organization (CBO) resources including but not limited to: placing ads and using available advertising resources
  • Maintain relationship with referral resources (CBO) and develop new relationship
  • Recruit, setup and conduct on/off site interviews to create, build and maintain qualified candidate pools
  • Maintain and update applicant databases and keep daily logs, along with creating monthly and weekly reports reflecting activity of in-bound calls, candidate pools, and new resources/CBOs
  • Review open/upcoming job orders and contracts and use recruitment strategies to find suitable candidates
  • Find and build relationships with CBOs that assist candidates with disabilities to get qualified referrals
  • Attend job fairs and other recruitment events to assist with identifying and registering new talent
  • Post on company website, job boards, send out eBlasts/announcements and discuss positions with CBOs/candidates
  • Ensure that all paperwork is collected at offsite events, delivered to the office and entered into database
  • Use databases to enter and search for information to assist placement with filling job orders
  • Assist placement team with finding the right candidates for open and upcoming job orders
  • Perform other clerical and/or administrative duties as needed
  • Meet with the placement and intake departments to ensure temporary positions are filled on time
  • Perform site visits to new and existing CBOs
  • Assist with various projects as needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, accurate Data Entry and Typing abilities
  • Possess excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Experience and/or knowledge of I-9 and new hire forms/requirements is a plus
  • Able to work with IWD and other barriers to employment (individuals from all walks of life) in a professional manner
  • Must be well organized with excellent attention to detail
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience
