What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?
We are looking for an Events Recruiter to join our Global Product Events Team. You will work alongside a team of Recruiters, Sourcing Specialists, Scheduling Coordinators, Talent Acquisition Leaders & HR Business Partners to hire the best talent and provide an exceptional candidate experience.
Your day will include consulting and partnering with the business, helping leaders through the interview and selection process, whilst ensuring we maintain our employment brand to attract top diverse talent to join VMware.
What will YOU be doing?
- Manage planning/expectation setting, establishment and ongoing assessment of candidate criteria, timeline establishment and training
- Deliver high volumes of candidates (predicated on specialization within T.A. and narrow but extensive focus on generation and size of req load)
- Focus on detailed planning, detailed and frequent real time reporting and analysis, and post-engagement analysis designed to provide hiring teams with actionable data that can be used to provide improved future outcomes
- Monitor recruiting source effectiveness, analysis of candidate pipelines to ensure timely delivery and hiring and to enable aligned and continuous candidate supply
- Create detailed sourcing plans that include candidate or outcome delivery commitments/estimates (focused on time and quantity) for each project or req alignment
- Ensure accurate capture of sourcing metrics and the analysis and utilization of that data to produce improved ROI for candidate engagement activities
- Work on a diverse slate of requisitions, partnering with geographically dispersed candidates, hiring managers, and teams. You leverage imaginative and innovative sourcing tools with a focus on building and improving upon the processes and tools that drive us to do what we do, but better.
- Build trust and relationships within the business to continue momentum of a strong TA function.
- Use data to impact the talent acquisition strategy.
- Partake in transformational global & regional strategic initiatives & programs.
