Salary: £19,273 – £22,000 Per Annum
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team,
Based conveniently between Nottingham and Derby centres, nestled on the entrance to one of the regions finest country parks (Shipley Country Park), boasting 700 acres of beautiful landscape popular for relaxed café dining, walking, fishing, biking and horse-riding.
The successful candidate will be the first person a customer or visitor sees or talks to when arriving on the premises. A receptionist must be pleasant, have good listening skills and be able to provide correct information at all times.
No experience necessary as full training will be provided for this role.
You Will Be Required To Perform The Following Tasks
- Greet and welcome visitors as they arrive in reception
- Provide complimentary drinks to clients arriving for meetings
- Ensure visitors sign in and then inform the appropriate colleague of their arrival
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable with all necessary stationary and material (E.g. Pens, paper, catalogues, water, forms, warranties)
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone and respond to emails promptly and courteously
- Prompt clients to fill out the online test form on the computer based in reception assisting where necessary
- Take cash, card and cheque payments from customers on collection of their units.
- Edit proformas to either invoices/credit notes and issue customers with necessary paperwork
- Receive, sort and distribute any deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (Monitor visitors log book, issuing visitors badges)
- Order all companywide office supplies (E.g. Water, coffee, cups, Asda supplies) and stationary keeping an inventory of stock
- Ensure all ‘fat Friday’ orders are sent over to suppliers, and distribute out on arrival.
- Any other task deemed reasonable by employer
