Dakota Hotels are seeking an outgoing personality and organised individual for the role of a Receptionist.

We are centrally located just a 5min walk from the train station on Greek Street. We are easily accessible by public transport, close to the east parade bus link and within a 10min walk to Leeds Bus Station.

Our 84-bedroom luxury hotel features two cocktail Bars and a destination Grill with a private dining space for 16.

CONTRACT AND REWARDS

The role carries a 40-hour permanent contract and is suitable for an individual seeking flexible shift work, working any 5 days from 7, with shift times typically being 6:45am-3:15pm and 2:45pm-11pm.

Pay rate is £21,000 per annum, paid monthly.

Role Responsibilities

As the face of Dakota, Receptionists must have a genuine warmth and a passion for delivering authentic hospitality. Job responsibilities include:

–To carry out Reception duties including welcoming guests to Dakota, checking in guests, carrying out ad hoc requests, making bedroom and table reservations, light Housekeeping tasks, checking out guests, and handling guest billing.

–To have a comprehensive knowledge of the Front Office computer systems.

–Provide a consistently excellent level of guest service in accordance to our service principles and values, ensuring that all guests receive special attention and recognition.

–Work closely alongside all other departments to ensure excellent communication and be proactive in assisting other departments as required.

–Offer additional services to make the guest experience more seamless i.e. making restaurant reservations, assisting in directions, delivering items to room.

Candidate Requirements

As well as having a desire to learn and an enthusiasm for the role and full training will be given. The successful applicant will have/be:

–At least 1 year working experience as a receptionist or in food and beverage environment.

–Be flexible in working shift patterns required.

–Successful candidates will have an outgoing personality and be confident in providing dynamic service.
