Join our friendly team based at the heart of Peterborough City Centre and start your career progression with NHS working as a Receptionist. The job is based in brand new offices at Town Hall, it’s also near the Bus Station, which makes transport to work really easy.

Your main duties will be meeting and greeting Service Users, updating our patient electronic system, answering calls, some of which might be of a sensitive nature. You will need be empathetic, with a natural drive to help and find an answer to patients’ enquiries.

Admin duties will include sending appointment letters, scanning and uploading documents. In order to do well in this role, you will need to be a team player with good communication and IT skills, able to multitask and work under pressure and more than anything else, you will put patients at the heart of everything we do.

Working days and hours: 22.5hrs Monday, Thursday and Friday 9am-5pm

From 1 April 2022 all job roles that involve patient contact will require the post holder to have completed a full course of authorised COVID-19 vaccine doses, unless they have a medical exemption. (Under parliamentary review).
