Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 – the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Mantu: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

As you know, every person is different and so is every role in a company. That is why we must adapt accordingly, and the process may differ slightly at times. However, please know that we always put ourselves in the candidate’s shoes to ensure they have the best possible experience.

Job Description

We are looking for a new motivated member to join our team in Paris to contribute to a new research program, developing the solutions of tomorrow!

You will be involved in innovative and ambitious projects, working with a wide range of contributors and partners.

By integrating the Mantu R&D department, you will be part of a young, ambitious, and diverse global team and you will have the following missions:

• Oversee the development and execution of the roadmap, resources allocation, quality of the deliverables and management of the risks
• Coordinate and participate to state-of-the-art studies
• Work on the identification of the scientific limitation and research axis
• Participate to the development of proofs of concept, MVP and more
• Use the dedicated project management and monitoring tools
• Contribute to the development of project reports, blogs, and scientific publications

Ideal profile:

• You are currently an engineering student or preparing a master’s degree in the field of computer science looking for an R&D internship.
• You have a strong appetite for sustainability and ethical topics, more specifically regarding green IT and sustainable software developments. You’d like to evolve in impactful R&D projects.
• Passionate about the IT field, you have a good knowledge of some technologies, through development experience and some software engineering skills (database, Front and Back end, API, web applications). Some Knowledge of SonarQube or equivalent is appreciated as well.
• You are fluent in English and French, spoken and written.
• You are an organized and rigorous person, proactive and bold.
• Finding solutions quickly and suggesting areas for improvement are for you the main part of your daily work.
• You have strong analytical and communication skills, being able to interact with various profiles (users, researchers, developers, etc)
