What’s the role?

Our client Deloitte, a “Big 4” Professional Services firm, is looking for RCA Manager to join as part of a high-quality team helping a major financial service provider deliver a past business review project focused on investment product sales.

You will be working in a results-orientated and fast paced environment, where your core responsibility will be to lead a technical team and to support them in delivering accurate and timely guidance.

Location: Remote Working

Rate: £400 per day

Duration: 6 months

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Taking a lead role in the stand-up of the team, identifying key stakeholders throughout the Investments Project and developing and maintaining these relationships through attendance at senior board meetings and regular engagement, acting as a trusted advisor with regards to Risk and Controls.
  • Developing and agreeing a standard engagement model with key stakeholders in the Risk and Control Assessment (RCA) process, including key communication points to deliver support and improve understanding of Technology risks and mitigating controls.
  • Coordinating the creation Risk Forum, ensuring the correct stakeholders are represented and the content discussed allows the Leadership Team to fully understand their Risk profile and make appropriate decisions to mitigate their Risks.
  • Managing the relationship between the Investment Products Sale and Technology Businesses (and vice-versa), acting as a single point of contact to ensure Technology related risks, incidents, action plans and triggers are communicated effectively between areas.

What Knowledge, Skills & Experience We Need

  • Experience in the financial industry covering risk, data and fund administration.
  • Previous experience specifically within investments would be a distinct advantage
  • Familiar of Operational Risk Management Frameworks and their implementation
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a wider team.
  • Strong attention to detail and clear presentational skills, able to coordinate groups of people around common objectives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint in particular.
  • Self-driven, proactive, diligent and able to demonstrate ability to show initiative.
  • Degree educated or equivalent in a subject requiring a rational and methodological approach to problem solving is preferable.
