Rare Disease Project Manager

We are now recruiting for a Rare Disease Project Manager. This is an amazing opportunity for a role, which is a mix between project management and product management.
This will be a unique opportunity to work for a world leader in diabetes care, haemophilia, growth hormones therapy and obesity.
The Position
As a Rare Disease Project Manager, you will be mainly responsible for planning, project management, external customer development and brand communication.
You will oversee developing annual marketing plans and coordinate their successful implementation to grow and achieve both short and long-term sales, profit and market share position for assigned products.
Adding to this, you will also be in charge of the portfolio management, assessing competitive standing of product portfolio, launching of new products, exploring & identifying new opportunities.
You will also be responsible for translating strategy into key implementation milestones, communicating clearly and allocating responsibilities to cross functional member teams, as well as orchestrating/managing the process to ensure execution of marketing plan within cross-functional teams.
Developing a deep understanding of customer needs & market trends is a key success factor for the role, together with identifying and assessing significant growth opportunities and creating strategies that would deliver profitable market share.
You will be in charge of focusing on customer satisfaction and commitment to quality and compliance together with developing and implementing a plan to build relationship with key customers, as well as influencing them.
Adding to the above, you will be mainly in charge of the brand communication – Rare Endocrine (RED) and Rare Blood Disorders (RBD), NNRD multichannel engagement planning and execution of projects Viz, Nordicare PSP, Growth Journey APP. RAS (Reach & Support program) in RBD space will be some of the projects the project manager will be responsible for.
Qualifications
You hold a degree in Pharma or similar healthcare.
Preferred MBA degree from a distinguished university.
You possess at least 2 years’ experience in a managerial position, preferably in a multinational pharmaceutical company and you have hands on experience in digital marketing.
Fluency in both Arabic and English – speaking & writing
As a person, you have:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills and effective time management skills with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
You are a strong and an innovative team player who loves taking initiatives.
You are aware of cultural differences and you have the ability to work in international settings.

About the department
The Novo Nordisk Rare disease unit in UAE came into existence in the year 2018, ever since then the unit has been growing at high double digit growth year on year. The unit has leadership position in the areas of rare endocrine disease (RED) and Rare Blood disease (RBD). The team has excellent customer relations and has been able to roll out some unique first of its kind initiatives in this area.
Novo Nordisk BioPharm UAE unit, has undergone some latest changes, including a name change to Novo Nordisk Rare Diseases unit. We are an innovative team of 3 sales and one MSL, we are also expected to be growing more over the next couple of years.
