As an engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to modeling and assessing foreign threat radars, antennas, and communication systems. We’re looking for a problem solver who can use their skills to help perform detailed analyses, including the evaluation of the detectability of airborne systems and survivability analyses of weapon systems and platforms to be deployed in future combat scenarios. This is an opportunity to hone your technical abilities on significant and current technical problems and gain exposure to the technical defense community.
Our modeling and simulation team performs a variety of classified analyses of future weapon and platform concepts for DoD clients. We develop the detailed models and simulations as required by those analyses. That’s why we need you, an intern with an interest in software development related to RF systems, radar signal processing, antenna modeling, and operational approach assessments. While working with a diverse and experienced team, you’ll perform and support modeling and simulation with software development. You’ll directly impact the Department of Defense’s mission by helping determine what tactics, techniques, and procedures improve survivability and decrease vulnerability against foreign threat systems as well as helping make an informed decision for the acquisition of future systems.

You Have:
- Experience with graphical user interface development
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree between December 2023-May 2026
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with engineering and mathematics
- Experience with modeling and simulation
- Experience with Linux
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Clearance:
