Ingersoll Rand, a global company with hundreds of locations throughout the world has an exciting

opportunity for multiple Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Interns at the following Industrial

Products Group-Americas locations: Buffalo, NY; Davidson, NC; Quincy, IL.; Springfield, MO. These

positions will contribute to the engineering design and development of current and new

products. Successful internships could lead to full time employment upon completion of their

degree. At Ingersoll Rand, we place great value on our interns. Our positions are structured to

maximize your internship and professional experience. You will be working side by side with

seasoned engineers on new and exciting projects! Open and willing to work in an active lab

environment running and managing product tests is a must.

This position is a paid internship. Local candidates are great, but we will offer a lump sum housing

stipend for non-local students.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Basic electrical knowledge is desirable for Mechanical, required for Electrical
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills
  • Solid Modeling CAD skills are preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills. Must be capable to work

in a fast paced, creative, results-oriented atmosphere.
