Responsibilities
- Works with the Quality Assurance Mentor on Quality projects outlined in the individualized intern training plan.
- Works independently and as a team member with other Quality associates on business Improvement project.
- Assist with supplier Quality Issues and root cause analysis process.
- Manage, track and report on rework, repairs orders and supplier return.
- Act as a liaison between Quality department and daily manufacturing quality issues.
Competencies
- Associate Degree or current active student in good standing enrolled in at least the second year in an accredited educational institution, working towards a Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or quality related field.
- Knowledge of MS Office suite.
- Ability to learn and apply problem solving techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedure manuals.
- Strong math aptitude and ability to work with mathematical concepts such as algebra, probability, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Data oriented and ability to work accurately with data and numbers.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Is expected to travel nationally up to 10% to customer or supplier sites.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license.

The company
In line with its international growth, Liebherr’s venture into the United States began in 1970.
