Project Description

The QA consultant contributes to all main activities of the QA department that focuses on improving the customers’ experience of the MX.3 platform quality, from test coverage maintenance and enhancement, to test coverage roadmap execution (design, implementation and execution of test plans).

Responsibilities

Skills:

  • He/she is knowledgeable on the main interfaces managed by his team : functionality of the interfaces itself (utility to which it connects, protocol and format, business flows), MX.3 modules involved with that interface
  • He/she is aware about cross-interfaces topics: production chain principles, third parties, single env, BIP, testability
  • He/she has basic knowledge on the different test levels and types
  • He/she has basic knowledge on using testing tools and automating test scenarios

Roles

  • Maintain the interfaces BIP TPKS in the production chain and make sure to do the needed to unblock the archival
  • Monitor production chain pipelines and work with dedicated team on enhancements and optimizations

Works closely with the feature team on the development of new epics

  • Challenge specs and acceptance criteria’s and give his input
  • Define with the team the test strategy for all levels (offline and online) and types (functional and non-functional)
  • Define with the team the test plan
  • Work closely with the PO to validate the acceptance criteria’s
  • Ensure non-regression by automating the needed test scenarios and adding them to the relevant test suite
  • Review the test strategy of the team interfaces
  • Challenge existing scenarios and optimize them by performing the needed refactoring etc.
  • Invert the test pyramid by moving online tests to offline when possible
  • Detect missing test coverage and perform the needed enrichment
  • Ensure client testability needs
  • Define and design the needed MTS blocks
  • Follow with MTS component team the development of these MTS blocks and test them
  • Implement test suites using these MTS blocks that can be delivered to clients for testing on their side
  • Execute manual test campaign when needed
  • Define the test plan with all parties (PES, CS, QA)
  • Execute the assigned test scenarios and report detected issues
  • Follow the issues and make sure to test the fixes
  • Participate to production staging campaigns
  • Perform the needed configurations on the production staging environment
  • Executed the needed test scenarios while checking different aspects (performance, load, etc.)
  • Maintain the interfaces BIP TPKS in the production chain and make sure to do the needed to unblock the archival
  • Follow the corrective maintenance defects and perform the needed test enrichments to cover them when needed

  • He/she has basic knowledge on using testing tools and automating test scenarios
