To boost our growth, we are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our small but growing finance team in the UAE, who will play a full role in establishing and building the foundation of our function, both in terms of systems, structure and processes and culture. An exciting opportunity for someone who wants to play a role in shaping our future and have an opportunity to build a career in a dynamic growing business.

Key Responsibilities
Month end closing process across HQ and UAE Businesses
Management accounting and reporting – including ongoing improvements
Supplier and Partner reconciliations – managing and automating processes
Support to Finance Managers in our markets across the Middle East and Africa
Validating expenses and posting into our ERP system
Ad-hoc tasks given by Senior accountant

What do you need to be successful in this position?
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Finance or similar.
Professional Accountancy qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA)
At least 3 years of experience in a finance team, ideally within the Financial Industry.
Strong technical accounting knowledge
Experience of month end close and tax reporting
User knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business is a definite plus, including implementation and integration
High proficiency in MS Office Applications in particular excel, ideally being able to create macros, build some simple models and create tables and graphs.
SQL skills a plus
