A society that opperates on non-violence basis, more sharing, and a one that knows how to demand its rights and tied by close relationships.

Objectives:

1. Enhancing human rights in Iraqi society.
2. Spreading the culture of peace and tolerance.
3. Raising democracy and respecting others’ views.
4. Bridging the gaps among Iraqi NOGs in order to share information and experiences to achieve their ultimate.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide technical knowledge on PVE and drivers of conflict to the teams
• Provide the oversight and amend if needed the schools’, education staff and students’ selection criteria for all locations, and provide backstopping support.
• Develop and discuss with the team; the assessment tools to identify the drivers of conflict and pull and push factors and the potential vulnerability areas in schools in the educational facilities and their catchment areas
• Work with the management team to develop and update the stakeholder mapping, to define those to be in the Key Informative Interviews.
• Work with the management team to develop Key Informative interview formats and questionnaires
• Provide tools and methods to conduct context analyses in the targeted areas, and write one conflict analyses report on the three catchment areas
• Support the management team and participate in review the teaching practices and curriculum in schools
• Take the lead in development the training curricula on PVE through Education that will be tested in schools
• Provide the technical backstopping support during the ToT sessions to the teaching staff that will be prepared by the Management team.
• Work with the management team to develop tools to do final evaluation of the PVE project impact on schools and educational facilities.

NOTE: Be willing to fulfill any other tasks that might come up in relation to the work.

معهد العراق للتنمية (IID) هو منظمة وطنية – غير ربحية – غير حكومية نشطة في مجال السلام وبناء السلام المجتمعي في مختلف المحافظات العراقية ، تقوم IID حاليًا بتنفيذ مشروع لمنع التطرف العنيف في التعليم من خلال تحديد دوافع الصراع ، وتطوير PVE مناهج التدريب وتقييم وتعزيز قدرات التدريس وقدرات أصحاب المصلحة الآخرين لنقل المعرفة بمنع التطرف العنيف إلى الزملاء والطلاب ، ويتم تنفيذ هذا المشروع في محافظة ديالى بالشراكة مع منظمتين أخريين ؛ منظمة حواء للإغاثة والتنمية ومؤسسة السلام المستدام ، مدة المشروع ستة أشهر مع إمكانية التمديد وبتمويل من التعاون الألماني.

تبحث IID عن خبير مؤهل في منع التطرف العنيف (PVE) يمكنه توفير الإشراف على أدوات التقييم والتقييم لتحديد وتحليل دوافع النزاع في المناطق والمدارس المستهدفة ، وكذلك المشاركة في تطوير مناهج التدريب على منع التطرف العنيف والإشراف عليها. ويحلل تاريخ المراقبة والتقييم النهائي ،

2. المسؤوليات والواجبات:

توفير المعرفة التقنية حول PVE ودوافع الصراع للفرق

• توفير الإشراف وتعديل معايير اختيار المدارس وموظفي التعليم والطلاب لجميع المواقع ، وتقديم الدعم المساند إذا لزم الأمر.
• مراجعة وتطوير أدوات التقييم ، بدعم من مدير المشروع لتحديد دوافع الصراع وعوامل الجذب والدفع في المرافق التعليمية ومناطق تجمعها
• العمل ادارة المشروع على تطوير وتحديث مخطط أصحاب المصلحة ، لتحديد هؤلاء ليكونوا في المقابلات الإعلامية الرئيسية.
• العمل مع فريق الإدارة لتطوير تنسيقات واستبيانات المقابلات الإعلامية الرئيسية
• توفير الأدوات والأساليب لإجراء تحليلات السياق في المناطق المستهدفة ، وكتابة تقرير تحليلي واحد للنزاع في مناطق التجمعات الثلاثة
• دعم فريق ادارة المشروع والمشاركة في مراجعة ممارسات التدريس والمناهج الدراسية في المدارس و كيفية تطويرها لتغطي الوقاية من  التطرف العنيف في المدارس
• أخذ زمام المبادرة في تطوير و اعداد مناهج التدريب على مكافحة التطرف العنيف في المدارس
• توفير الدعم الفني المساند أثناء جلسات تدريب المدرسين التي سيتم إعدادها ,و اجراءها من قبل فريق الإدارة.
• العمل مع فريق الإدارة لتطوير أدوات لإجراء التقييم النهائي لتأثير مشروع منع العنيف على المدارس والمرافق التعليمية.

Qualification & Preferred Skills

• Minimum university degree in social studies or another relevant field;
• Extensive experience experience in conducting research, developing curriculums and delivering trainings on PVE issues. 
• Experience and knowledge on the field of PVE and PVE through education.
• Extensive knowledge of civil society sector in Iraq and Diyala province.   
• Extensive experience on building capacities;
• Excellent inter-personal communication skills including experience of facilitation of training and presentation;
• Excellent communication and written skills in Arabic, English is preferred.

• • الحد الأدنى من الدرجة الجامعية في الدراسات الاجتماعية أو أي مجال آخر ذي صلة.
  • خبرة واسعة (5 سنوات على الأقل) في إجراء البحوث وتطوير المناهج وتقديم الدورات التدريبية حول قضايا منع التطرّف العنيف.
  • الخبرة والمعرفة في مجال PVE و PVE من خلال التعليم.
  • معرفة واسعة بقطاع المجتمع المدني في العراق ومحافظة ديالى.
  • خبرة واسعة في بناء القدرات.
  • مهارات اتصال ممتازة بين الأفراد بما في ذلك الخبرة في تسهيل التدريب والعرض التقديمي.

  • الكفاءات الاستشارية ، والخبرة ، ومتطلبات المهارة.

  • اتصالات ممتازة ومهارات كتابية باللغة العربية ، ويفضل اللغة الإنجليزية.
