- Retail Grocery Store Purchase experience mandatory and is a MUST
- Purchase experience in retail of atleast 2 years is a must
- Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
- Sourcing quality materials & products, and negotiating the best or most cost-effective price.
- Understand market fluctuations and fluctuations in the product and material pricing and negotiate competitive rates
- Ensure year-on-year savings from procurement and manage spend on all direct & indirect procured items
- Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
- Inspecting stock and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.
- Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
- Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.
- Establishing professional relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Establish purchase policies and purchase process for the company
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Maintain supplier master & related contracts – identify & register new suppliers
