Public Sector Institutional Capacity Building Officer

Oxfam in OPT is looking for a Public Sector Institutional Capacity Building Officer that will liaise and coordinate the work of the consultants and experts in this area. The role will work closely with the public sector stakeholders to support the Coordination of the institutional capacity-building activities (structural, policies, producers, and Standard Operating procedures). This is in close coordination with partners of the Palestinian Agricultural Disaster Risk Reduction and Insurance Fund (PADRRIF).

Looking for the following experiences :

  • A suitable masters level qualification in institutional and organizational development / commercial Law / public administration/economics / developmental management or other related development.
  • Significant and demonstrable experience managing or executing institutional and organizational building through jobs and/or consultancy works. Minimum relevant years of experience are seven years.
  • Good project management, reporting skills, and analysing complex data and sources.
  • Demonstrated ability in budget development, monitoring, and managing financial resources efficiently.
  • Direct experience working with governmental/semi-governmental and NGOs, preferably on developing organizations, ideally in the oPt or Middle East context, and intense awareness of their strengths, weaknesses, and organizational culture.
