Public Relations Intern

Eclipse Media Group is searching for two Interns for a part-time, paid position. This position will be hybrid and the intern will need to also be available to work in our office in Greater Portland, Maine. People who are unable to be in the office one day a week need not apply.The Intern will be expected to work between 12-15 hours per week on a set-schedule to enable collaboration with the Eclipse Media Group team. The internship would run for a set period of time, no more than 14 weeks.Our goal with this program is to give our interns valuable real-world experience working for a global, technology focused PR agency that will open the door for future opportunities. Our interns will be tasked with a variety of projects assisting both Eclipse Media Group clients and Eclipse Media Group’s internal marketing and will be exposed to a range of agency responsibilities, from content creation and digital marketing to client reporting and social media planning. Interns will be expected to work in a variety of programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as all Google programs. Additional PR and project management tools including Workast, Slack, Hootsuite, Hubspot and Constant Contact. Experience with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram will be required. Strong written and verbal skills are required, along with the ability to multitask.The intern will need to be a current college student who is a motivated self-starter and interested in developing their public relations, social media, research, project management and strategy skills.
