Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Public Health or Epidemiology, or similar healthcare related fields with a strong quantitative or analytical component is a must.
- At least 7 years of working experience in research/project management.
- Proven experience of working with a variety of statistical software like R, SAS, STATA, SPSS, etc.
- Proven knowledge of research methods, especially survey methodology.
- Proven ability to manipulate and present data by using standard tabulation and statistical software packages.
- Proven ability to visualize and communicate the data, including within a larger narrative report.
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Collaborative and constructive team member.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, multitask, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of qualitative analysis software is a plus.
- Examples of published research is a plus.
- Fluency in written and oral English. Arabic is a plus.
Examples of Tasks
- Conduct and lead quantitative research including research design, tool design, analysis and discussion, and generation of recommendations.
- Investigate, analyze, and interpret data using accepted statistical techniques.
- Recommend and develop statistical approaches for use in analyses.
- Prepare analysis plans and write detailed specifications for analysis files, consistency checks, tables, and figures.
- Provide clear written and verbal summary interpretations of statistical analyses conducted.
- Oversees and support the work of the research project implementation team (junior researchers).
- Lead training on new projects and research tools with junior researchers.
- Assist in business development including conceptualization of new research studies, proposal writing, and strategic planning.
- Organize project files, data, and documents.
- Attend meetings with project partners.
- Strengthen team dynamics.
- Capacitate the research skills of the junior researchers.
- Contribute to reports write-up.
- Develop articles for publication.
This is a full-time position. The post location is flexible, allowing for remote work. The start date is ASAP. Candidates will be interviewed on a rolling basis.
