PT Officer

Job purpose:

To plan and implement individual Physical therapy and group counseling sessions for people with disabilities.

للتخطيط وتنفيذ جلسات العلاج الفيزيائي الفردية وجلسات الاستشارة الجماعية للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.

Duties, objectives, and competencies:

• Provide technical assessment to define needs of beneficiaries
• Implement individual Physical therapy and group counseling sessions for people with disabilities
• Update case workers about beneficiaries, and report when the sessions will be finalized.
• Advise case workers about the needs of beneficiaries and services/assistive devices they need
• Support case workers for internal and external referrals
• Reporting and assisting Project Officer to write project reports.
• Record registered Physical therapy y and group counseling beneficiaries, their technical assessments and session attendances in the database in a timely manner and update information as necessary and ensure that progress is updated in the database,
• Ensure accuracy and maintain technical assessment files, regularly update the database, and collaborate with the case management team.
• Contribute to project strategies and to programme development in health and protection sector.

Note: the above mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Other future responsibilities /accountability may be assigned to the job depending on the department organizational chart.

• تقديم تقييم فني لتحديد احتياجات المستفيدين.
• تنفيذ جلسات العلاج الفيزيائي الفردية وجلسات الاستشارة الجماعية للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.
• تحديث العاملين على الحالات حول المستفيدين، وإبلاغهم عند الانتهاء من الجلسات.
• تقديم المشورة للعاملين على الحالات حول احتياجات المستفيدين والخدمات/الأجهزة المساعدة التي يحتاجونها.
• دعم العاملين على الحالات في الإحالات الداخلية والخارجية.
• إعداد تقارير ومساعدة مسؤول المشروع في كتابة تقارير المشروع.
• تسجيل المستفيدين المسجلين في العلاج الفيزيائي والجلسات الجماعية، وتقييماتهم الفنية وحضورهم في قاعدة البيانات في الوقت المناسب، وتحديث المعلومات حسب الضرورة، وضمان تحديث التقدم في قاعدة البيانات.
• الدقة والحفاظ على ملفات التقييم الفني وتحديث قاعدة البيانات بشكل منتظم، والتعاون مع فريق إدارة الحالات.
• المساهمة في استراتيجيات المشروع وتطوير البرامج في قطاع الصحة والحماية.

Requirements: Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or any other relevant field.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
• Advanced proficiency in Arabic.
• Minimum of two years of experience in the humanitarian field.
• درجة البكالوريوس في العلاج الفيزيائي أو أي مجال آخر ذي صلة
• مهارات متوسطة في اللغة الإنجليزية.
• مهارات متقدمة في اللغة العربية.
• خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين في المجال الإنساني.

Requirements (desired)

• Advanced knowledge of physical therapy principles.
• Advanced knowledge in report writing.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Minimum ofone years of experience in a similar position.

• معرفة متقدمة في مبادئ العلاج الفيزيائي.

• معرفة متقدمة في كتابة التقارير.

• إتقان متقدم في استخدام برنامجي Excel وWord.

• خبرة لا تقل عن سنة في منصب مماثل.
