Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant Required, Didsbury, Manchester (M20)

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a ‘GOOD’ primary school in the Didsbury area of Manchester (M21) who is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 Team on a full time basis starting in May 2022.

The school are looking for a recent psychology graduate who has achieved a 2:1 grade or higher and is looking to begin their career in education. The successful candidate will work alongside the KS2 Teachers and Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator to assist a handful of children with a range of SEN. Ideally, applicants will have prior experience supporting learners with additional needs however; training and support will be provided where necessary.

This role is to start on Monday 2nd May 2022 and will run for the full academic year initially. There may be the opportunity for extension for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
