We’re looking for an experienced Project Support Officer or Project Support Administrator who is skilled in organisational change and implementation, an expert in supporting multiple departments in addressing local process change, and who is able to stay organised amidst multiple information streams and skillfully draft and disseminate vital communications from those streams to the relevant local stakeholders.
The Opportunity
This post presents an exciting opportunity to support the implementation of a new financial and HR platform, People and Money, through advice and consultation with colleagues across ISG and the wider university and the creation and delivery of informative and educational content and materials.
The successful candidate will be highly adept at communicating complex processes into easily digestable communications to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. They will provide effective and efficient People and Money support and communications, be an independent problem solver, be adept at identifying problem areas, be skilled in creating content, have experience in onboarding new platforms, and will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They will be proactive, self-motivating, and able to manage multiple competing demands.

Your Skills And Attributes For Success
Excellent self-presentation, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and at ease when dealing with a wide range of stakeholders from top-level executives to students. An appreciation of the need for tact and confidentiality.
Ability to plan, prioritise, take initiative and find proactive solutions, contribute new ideas to projects, work unsupervised, under pressure and multitask effectively.
Analytical and problem solving skills and a pro-active approach to seeking out information, accuracy and attention to detail.
Proven experience of working effectively in a team and managing others.
A flexible attitude to changes in workload and procedures.

Organization
The IS Corporate Office comprises IT Security, Special Projects and Strategy Management. Its main role is supporting the CIO, Head of Knowledge Management and Planning, and the Divisions, to manage the smooth running of IS and its interactions within the wider University community.
It also contains the Business Unit which supports day-to-day HR, facilities and finance management within IS.
