
ZOA
1. The FSL officer is responsible for:
- Support the development of the project implementation plan (PIP) and the monitoring of implementation of the plan.**
- Ensure correct beneficiary selection procedure and criteria are followed by the partner, community mobilizer and committees.
- Coordinate with project coordinator, finance and logistics team in the planning to deliver the activities.
- Organize meetings to sensitize communities about the purpose of the food security and livelihoods project.
- Ensure that beneficiaries are adequately informed about project activities and plans, including inputs delivery date and conditions required for verification.
- Participate and lead selection of beneficiaries for the program activities.
- Monitoring and responsible for FSL day to day activity implementation
- Provide regular report and updates to the Project Coordinator regarding the project activities through field visit, meetings and partner’s feedback.
- Ensure confidentiality of information and strictly follow authorization and communication guidelines in this regard.
- Any other duties reasonably consistent with the key tasks of the function.
2. Authority
The Project Officer FSL is authorized within the limits of an agreed FSL Plan, he / she is accountable to the Project coordinator
3. Competencies
- Proven working experience of 3 -5 years in the relevant field;
- Minimum education: BSC degree in Animal Production /Agriculture
- ·Affinity with development work and International NGO’s;
- Fluent in Arabic and English in reading, writing and speaking;
- Excellent knowledge of computers (Excel, Word, Power point, etc..).
- Accuracy
- Reliable Personality;
- Service oriented attitude but a hardliner when it comes to keeping up to our administrative procedures.

5. Special working conditions:
- High flexibility to work on weekends, holidays and after office hours when required.
- This position will be evaluated after three months.
- The ability to work in areas, which need further development.

1- The ability to travel periodically into field locations and to other ZOA offices.
