Project Officer

Tearfund in Ethiopia is looking for an experienced Project Officer. The Project Officer (PO) is responsible for supporting the humanitarian (50%) and development work (50%) of Tearfund Ethiopia. As the projects are simultaneously being rolled out in different locations, the project officer would be simultaneously deployed in partner project areas to ensure program quality by leading Tearfund baseline and endline surveys, PDMs, and validating the stories/case studies developed on the ground.

the world, to lift people out of poverty, using local partners and churches wherever possible.

Along with our in-country partners, we have supported the establishment and development of more than 20,000 self-help groups (SHGs) across 50 locations in Ethiopia, as a sustainable, holistic approach to fighting poverty and its manifestation.

The Project Officer (PO) is responsible for planning, project design, and to ensure its proper implementation at the field level. Conduct field monitoring visits and provide technical support. Ensure coordination with all stakeholders.
