Project Marketing Manager

Role Summary

In this role, you will focus on creating and developing marketing projects in various mediums and prepared using multiple marketing platforms.

You will be responsible for turning the strategy into reality. By identifying all tasks that need to be completed within a marketing campaign and strategically gathering the materials together, the ideal candidate will prepare and package projects, so they are ready to publish, promote, and distribute to the appropriate internal team members and external viewers.

This role will be challenged to manage the project development in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while providing the team with the quality assurance needed to minimize errors found on the website, online advertising campaigns, email newsletters, and social media accounts. You will work daily in Canva, WordPress, and HubSpot’s marketing automation portal to design and prepare all elements of a digital marketing campaign.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prepare content delivery (new blog needs, social media posts, Canva graphics, text, website updates, etc).
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and other teams (Content, Events, AR/PR etc.) to define project requirements.
• Develop a strong rapport with internal and external teams through a detailed understanding of all facets within a project, clear and concise communication (written and verbal), and overall level of professionalism.
• Act as a resource for current information about the status of projects in progress.
• Develop project plans, facilitate project meetings and calls, assigns tasks, communicate issues, seek and recommend resolutions.
• Maintain relationships with outside creative and website vendors.
• Spearhead internal campaigns to improve copywriting, design, editing, and proofing to further the team’s multimedia and editorial best practices.
• Ensure branding is correctly represented.
• May be required to train and manage additional junior staff.

Qualified Applicants Should Have

Job Requirements

• Must be an extremely strong writer with an eye for detail and ensuring spelling/grammar mistakes are caught before projects go for review.
• Advanced experience with marketing tools and programs such as HubSpot, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress.
• Excellent project management skills required, including the ability to set and meet tight deliverable deadlines for multiple simultaneous projects while assuring brand accuracy and consistency.
• Previous hands-on experience with email, web/online marketing, social media marketing, search engine marketing, and display media preferred.
• Collaborative working style, strong listening skills, with ability to incorporate multiple viewpoints into discussion and decision making.
• Advanced knowledge of project and program management tools and techniques.
• Ability to work, self-direct, and prioritize within a virtual team.
• Relevant degree preferred in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 5 or more years of related experience required.
