Main duties and responsibilities
- Manage emergency response projects in the Zarkapattia Oblast, Ukraine; Mainly focussing on shelter and health assistance
- Maintain a strong monitoring, documentation, and reporting system.
- Lead the local team of AutRC delegates and URCS staff assigned to the projects in Uzhhorod
- Ensures efficient administration of the local delegation in coordination with the AutRC Country Representative in Kyiv
- Manges an effective and transparent use of financial resources in compliance with AutRC and donor regulations
- Engage in the local coordination between URCS and the RCRC Movement partners operative in the oblast
- Ensure mainstreaming of cross-cutting agenda (such as protection, inclusion) across all activities
Your profile
- Austrian (or EU) work permit is required
- At least 3 years’ operational management experience in international humanitarian and/or development programming (NGO, IO or Charity)
- Degree or diploma in international development, business management or other relevant discipline
- Solid experience in project development and implementation, capacity building and management with a local implementing partner
- Coordination, communication and planning skills, experience in donor reporting, accountability, and compliance
- Ability to work under pressure in a demanding security environment
- Very good English skills. Ukrainian, Russian and German skills are a strong asset
- Strongly motivated by humanitarian and development work, and high sensitivity to diversity
About the job
- Job location: Uzhhorod; travels to other destination if required; if required also permanent shift of main base possible
- Start of employment: Preferred July 2023, latest August 2023.
- Duration: minimum 1 year with option to extend
- Compensation: minimum monthly all-in salary of 3.860,00 (RK 14) / 14 time per year; option to be raised depending on qualifications and experience. Accommodation in country of assignment is being provided.
