QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management Information Systems or Computer Science
- 4+ years project management experience with direct experience managing a high complexity IT project or telecom transformation projects (Telecom project experience is highly preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
- Strong capability in MS Project and Office application
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across functions and levels of an organization to drive teams towards success-based results
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Must be focused, goal driven, accountable and exhibit significant attention to detail
- An enthusiastic interest in management, communication, tooling, technology, and techniques.
- PMP or other related project management certifications is a plus
- No overseas travel restrictions
- Good command of written and spoken English
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various projects in collaboration with the Delivery manager.
- Collaborating with the product owner to clarify objectives, scope, project benefits and expectations.
- Influences project execution approach to deliver under tight timelines while minimizing risk to customer happiness and product quality
- Establishes the tools and processes to track and report on the project health and progress towards project goals
- Collaborating with the team to clarify impediments, recommending actions, mitigate risks, and transparency of project progress.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to delivery team and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Provide leadership for teams by motivating team members to meet project goals
- Act as a servant leader for the team members during the sprint, coordinate the sprint ceremony, remove impediments and resolve a conflict.
- Review and produce status reports and dashboards to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget and expected results
- Identifies uncommon risks to proactively alter project plan to improve project success probability
